Hi,

For a Lexmark Z32, the different inks are:
#60 - color cartridge (17G0060)
#50 - black (17G0050)
#90 - photo color (12A1990)
#65 - high yield color (16G0065)
#55 - high yield black (16G0055)

Installing Lexmark Z32 on e-machine by gateway


The only drivers available for this printer are for XP or lower.. Try connecting the device to the computer, and using Vista to search for a compatable driver.. I believe it should find one that is compatable with this printer..

Hi,

I suspect that the reason that there is no communication between your laptop and printer is because the printer will not switch online. This is further confirmed by one of the flashing lights. This is a standard feature if the built-in diagnostics of most current printers tells it that something is wrong.

Since as you posted/described "I've just put in all new inks and now..." was when the problem started, pls verify:
1. the ink cartridges are seated properly at their assigned slots;
2. most ink cartridges when new have a sticker cover of some sort to protect the electronic/contact pins. Pls verify that they were removed;
3. the cover/panel doors are securely lock in place;
4. verify that the USB cable/connectors are attached;
5. you have installed the correct model of ink cartridges, they are original and not generic/replacements/refills;
6. all others are where they should be, paper in tray, slides extended and nothing out of the ordinary;

If your concern has not been corrected after completion of the above procedures, pls post back with the brand and model of your printer. it might be of further help if you can post your laptop's brand & model as well as the operating system.

My printer was installed. now my computer says it not. the problem is that my install disk got destroyed. what do i do to reinstall it?


Hi,

You need to download the appropriate drivers from the Lexmark website and install it in to your PC. Once their homepage has opened up, pls move your mouse over to the "Drivers & Downloads", click on "Driver Finder", Enter your printer model in the "Search for your Printer by Model Number" and click on "GO". Click on your Operating System. After successful download, click the file to install. Pls follow on screen instructions.

We just attached the macbook to the hppsc 1350v all in one printer and new print cartridges. When attempting to print, message reads"color print cartridge not compatible with this printer". We know we have...


Hi,

Just to confirm pls:
1. the new print cartridges are original HP inks;
2. you have remove the bright pink tape from the ink cartridges;
3. the black is on the right side and the color is on the left side.

You can try removing both cartridges and clean the gold colored contacts where the pink tape was. Pls do the same to the mate pins in the cartridge holder in the printer.

Try again. If this does not be corrective, you may need to change inks again.

I have a hp all in one printer/scanner etc... it say its model C3150, which ink cartridges can i get to replace the old ones????

The part numbers of the inks for your HP C3150 are:
HP 92 - black
HP 93 - color
HP 99 - photo

They should be available at most computer stores or if you prefer to order from HP, pls see this page..

Ink replacement fault


Did you use Lexmark brand cartridges? Sounds like the printer can't read the chip in the cartridge. Try cleaning the contact pads behind the cartridges and in the carriage with the eraser on a pencil.
