1st you should delete the file that is corrupted or quarrentine it using your security software. This will allow you to download and install the driver needed for the sound card. You did get an installation Disc with the sound card right? If you did not simply go to the manufactor of your PC
's web site and search for Drivers for sound card ........Or you can install the card and go to Sysytem icon in the control panel and propertied will come up.Click on them and you will see Device Manager. Look down the list of items installed on your PC and near the bottom you will see either sound devices or media plug ins. If the driver is wrong or out dated it will show (in Yellow) a ? mark or a ! mark in Yellow. Click right there and it will say Repair,install,etc... You will be good to go after updaing your driver.
