Question about Samsung LN-T4665F 46 in. LCD Television
I just brought a Samsung LN-T-4665F 46 home yesterday and notice a similar problem.. I have a horizontal bar of color(green tint/reddish tint that's follows the green) that moves from the bottom to the top and recycles again at the bottom. I thought maybe it was the cable box but I can see this happening even when the cable box is turned off and the screen has no input source(black)...
This may be a power supply fault, and what you are probably seeing is some switching noise breaking in through the display processor, or possibly the input processor. Because of the fact that the bar is moving, this means that the sequence is not locked to the main processors.
You should contact the place where you bought the set and speak to someone about an exchange. A one day old set should be exchanged right away, and I would argue that fact.
I don't want to mention any name brands, but I would have gone for a company that also manufactures TV broadcast and industrial TV equipment rather than one that manufactures appliances.
