Installing without the CD

My dad gave us a printer he got for free when buying his computer - he may have given us the CD with it but we've lost it & I need to reinstall this printer on my laptop since it recently was reconfigured & wiped out the previous installation. The printer has worked great but I can't get it to install now - is there a place online to download the installation stuff needed? It is blinking an orange light 7 times if that means anything to you - I can't find that online anywhere either. I try installing the installer cd but it didn't work. I need your assistance

You can go on HPs website and search your printer in the search engine and it will ask you if you want to download the driver

It sounds as if there is a conflict between the two sets of printer drivers. I would uninstall the new printers software and install the PSC's first. If it installs ok then reinstall the new printers driver. Hopefully all will be well.
