Question about Panasonic DMR-EZ47V DVD Recorder/VCR
Will not respond properly to remote : Guide is continually scrolling: setup menu items flashing and unuseable. Tried unfreeze, reset etc, pulling plug out, nothing fixes it. Is only 3 days old and was working OK. What have I done? HELP!!!!
The remote control code is wrong. Change to the correct code. The batteries are depleted. Replace them with new ones. Point the remote control at the remote control sensor on the main unit. Remove obstacles between the remote ccontrol and the main unit. Remove dust from the transmission window and the unit's sensor. Colored glass may obstruct the signal reception/transmission. Don't place the signal sensor in direct sunlight or in areas that be subject to sun exposure. It may be necessary to set the code on the remote control again after changing the batteries. It may be necessary to set the manufacture code again after changing the batteries.
I hope this info can be of some help to you. Ms Tanya 2/12/08 4:02AM CST.
