Hi,
In order to fully determine the main problem of your lcd and the correct answer to your issue. I just need to get more details;
1) When did the white light started showing up?
2) What was the last thing that was done on the computer before the white line appeared?
3) Where there any new hardware or software installed?
4) When does the white line show up? Is it when you have just turned on your computer, you see the white line right away or when it reaches the desktop where the start button and all the icons comes up?
5) By chance, would you happen to have a PC monitor or flat panel available so that it could be used to check the video card if that's the problem?
