Question about JVC DR-M1 DVD Recorder
The DVD recorder spontaneously shuts down for no apparant reason, usually after only a few minutes.
Had a similar problem with my JVC, took the lid off and the transformer looks as though it had been overheating with scorch marks under the lid.I would think there is a thermal cut-out so the only solution is to replace the transformer and make sure the cooling fan is working
