Hi I wonder if anyone can help, I have just purchased a JVC GZ MG131 camcorder and a JVC CU VD10 DVD Burner. I set them up as per the instructions and tried to Burn my video files to DVD. When I insert the Disc in the Burner, it tries to recognize the disc and then comes up with the error message "incompatible disc - change disc. I have tried DVD R and DVD RW even the JVC blank disc supplied doesn't work. Any suggestions please.

hi,i asked my 'son-in-law-to-be' to buy me a gz-mg130 packaged with a cu-vd10 burner to bring along with him on his vacation here in the philippines.considering it as a present to me,he didn't return the warranty card for it will be used here in our country,i still feel i'm entitled to a replacement upon his return to the states come june 16,for it's factory defect.we encounter the very same problem those people do,that even the supplied dvd disc is reg as"not compatible".thank you very much.

I also have the same problem. Previously, the burner did write discs, now it doesn't. I phoned JVC who told me to write to the customer support centre in ondon, still waiting for a reply

Twiney or Dog Catcher - did you ever find anything out about the incompatible disc error?

I followed the directions exactly as stated. I used the JVC DVD-R that was supplied and received the incompatible disc message.
