Linksys website has all the drivers and check support! It will ask for information about your network adapter and lead you to firmware, drivers and information. That is the best source!

When I plug the router directly to my computer - it works - however it does not work wireless - suggestions

two things:

first ensure that the wireless on the router is enabled
if you have nto done so linksys by default is to set it up.

make sure that the wireless on your laptop is turned on. My IT departments gets no less than 5 tickets a week and the root cause in most is the user forgot to turn the wireless back on.

Prob connect to network that are avali befor it was fine.

Sometimes this really happen to correct this one better uninstall and reinstall the adapter software from your computer and then after that connect to the network and if still not working better download the latest driver for this adapter from Linksys site.....

Cannot connect anymore

Does the router work with the wired port connection? It's entirely possible that the router just went belly-up on you ...Linksys is an awesome brand, but sometimes it happens.

If the wired part works, the wireless transmitter inside may have gone bad. Best to just get a new one for about $50 ...but keep the old one in case you need a wired connection somewhere else around the house :)

Please Help!!

You can try:

But I think that the problem is not with the driver itself, but possibly with the operating system and lingering instances of the device.. make sure you have uninstalled all previous versions of the device software AND the device itself in the Device Manager before reinstalling it..

Wont install

I have only tried this on Windows XP. If you can connect to the web using a hard line you can get this running. Make sure you have internet. Then plug the wireless adapter into the usb port and when windows ask if it can search the internet say yes. That will install a driver for the wusb54gc. Then windows will manage the device. Linksys only has the option to download the installer as opposed to just the driver. What a pain when the installer doesn't work.
