Re: Why cant i find them?

First by sure that your players USB port is in MSC mode. Then, connect it to your computer and drag your ebooks in the TEXT.DIR folder.

Cant put ebook or movies on it

Just drag files from Windows Explorer to device make sure that when you open up device that there are the categories: music, pictures, video, playlist. Drag video to video on device, drag ebooks to playlist. Also, confirm this with Coby Media Manager.

Drag and drop the file into the correct folder. Coby's are picky about formats. I believe that they can only handle text. Check your manual or download it in pdf from Coby Electronics for it it is there.

For your music, go in MTPMEDIA\Music folder then, create an another one and drag all your files in. Go in the new folder arranger your files alphabetically and drag them back to the music folder. Delete the new folder you created before and the next time you will look at your songs from your player, they will be in alphabetical order.

coby products are trash, buy yourself a ipod and return/trash your old coby player.ive had two coby products and they both stopped working for NO reason, one was 6 months old{portable dvd} another {mp3 player}was 3 weeks old!
i put 300 songs on mine now i have to start over and all the technician from coby said was"mail it in ,we'll send you a new one",what about the time and/or money wasted buying mp3s?
thanks for wasting my time coby!!!!

Your batteries may be dead, the coil that it (the battery) attaches to sometimes gets bent out of the way, so try turning that back.
