Well that is strange would have to think you may need to download the USB driver from and see it that allows the phone via pc to recognised the mcard

I have an LG Cosmos Touch that I took pictures with, and now I want to send the pictures to my PC so that I can save them. How do I do that. I did not receive a software disc when I got the phone.

If the PC has bluetooth, switch it on and send the picture through bluetooth to your PC.
Or save the picture on the SD memory card, remove the memory card from your phone and get a memory card reader that will help you to connect the PC with the SD memory card. After connecting, you can now send the picture from your memory card to your PC directly.
Just go to my compute, open the SD memory card right on the picture and send to your PC.

Photo's on PC

The V3x has microSD memory card. When you connect the phone to the computer it should appear a message saying giving you optios to open files and explore your mobile files. If the message doesnt appear:
menu, connections, Usb: connect to Memory card. It should work. If you havent got microSD card in your phone, you must install Motorola Mobile Phone Tools (comes with you mobile) Good luck ;)

I have pictures on a motorola v3x that I want to move to my pc. Is it possible without emailing or texting? The service for the phone is already shut off.

If they are saved on your memory card, instead of your phone, you should be able to connect the phone to your PC with a usb cable.  Then you can access the memory card like any USB flash drive.
Alternatively, you can remove the card and put it into a card reader.

I want to download photos from my motorola v3x to my note book that has a vista operating system problems

You can either remove the memory card from your unit plug it on a memory card reader to your pc or u can use the default software that comes with your motorola so you can use the usb cable connection.

Hope this helps

Try removing the memory card of your cellphone and set your cellphone to factory settings, then format your memory card using a computer.
