Question about HP Compaq Presario V2000 Notebook
I purchased a used HP Compaq Presario V2000 laptop loaded with AMD, XP Proffesional (Vers. 2002, SP 2). The seller said he put on a fresh copy of XP prior to sale.
My modem and media card reader are not working. The error states no drivers loaded in device manager for the modem or card reader. It only states PCI. I went to HP and downloaded and executed the two modem drivers listed for the HP Presario 2000 ( I did not know which one I had). Still nothing.
The previous owner was using the laptop with a wireless connection I do not know if this is part of the problem.
Any ideas on the card reader would be appreciated also.
Alll the drivers can be downlaoded from the compaqs site . u need to enter the seril number of machine . if that devices are shown in device manger with an yellow qn mark .then that devices will work if proper drivers are laoded . give me ur computer serial no . i will send the link to that files
