Channel keeps changing

When I go to change the channel up, it wont stop it keeps going until i hit enter. Does anybody know what the problem is? Is it a fuse or something because the green light keeps blinking after you stop the channel. I have a 32 inch LCD LG TV

If you are using the remote to change channels it sounds like either the front of the remote and/or the receiving “eye” on the TV need to be cleaned, OR (more likely) the button on the remote is sticking. It is actually a button that pushes on a membrane under the entire remote panel. This is generally caused by some sticky liquid (like Coke) getting spilled on it. If you are brave enough, you can take the remote apart and clean it with denatured alcohol. Otherwise you need to replace your remote. If possible borrow a universal remote and see if it still happens. If that doesn’t fix it you have a bad IR receiver and/or a serious internal problem.

I am having trouble getting my RCA Universal remote to work with my Sanyo 1080i tv... I need to change the aspect ratio...

you can do this without a remote if you have a menu button on the tv you can fix it from there. if no menu button the press the channel up and down buttons at the same time and the menu will appear. if you can not find the tv code for the remote(IF its a universal remote) then you dont need the code you just follow the steps to enter the code But dont enter a code just keep pressing the channel up button on the remote until it turns the channel on the tv when it does STOP hit the enter/ok or similar button on the remote a your remote will work like new on your tv.Hope this helps you out or atleast gives you an idea.Best of luck to you!!!! There is no way to accsess the tv video without the remote i have a G E universal remote and need the correct code for this model

most universal remotes let you search through the code base by simply following the steps to enter a code then just keep pressing the channel up button instead of entering the code, just keep hitting the channel up button until it changes the channel on the tv. 9 out of 10 times this will work! GOOD LUCK!!

Need help to program my new T.V. to my remote

hold down code until it stays lit, then press tv then keep hitting channel up or channel down (either one can be used, keep pressing channel button til tv changes channels when it does press enter, or ok if enter is not there, it may take awhile maybe a few channel pushes up to 200 and up times, you use this method when you don't know the code for your tv. Hope this helps.

Channel keeps changing

It sounds like a stuck button or switch. What happens when you hit the channel DOWN, does it still keep scrolling down?
Is this with or without the remote?
Have you tried it with the remote and or the TV?

Let me know whether you are changing the channels with the remote or the buttons on the tv and I can try to give you a couple more suggestions.

TV changes channel changed before all numbers entered in remote

Possibly you're not hitting the numbers fast enough or there is a problem in the delay circuit in the microprocessor. Stargazer

After programming my new universal remote, the tv keeps changing chanels! wont stop!

you need to program your remote control. take the battaries out. and maually turn the tv on. then hit the source you want to view. for example, I want to control the tv set. I push, code search and hold it then push the source button and then release the source button and then release the code search button. now, aim at the tv and then keep pressing power button till it goes off. when the tv is off, hit return or set or something like that.( every remote has different calling for it but still the same function) it should work. try it and let me know.
