I bought the razr V3 from ebay for my daughter. She has received an error text message over one hundred times and is being billed for them. The phone is also shutting down sporadicly. She has had the phone less than a month. At&T states they don't know what to do about it. Do you have any suggestions?
Looks like your problem lies within the software installed on the phone. Your only solution to that problem would be to get the phone swapped at your nearest AT & Tservice and repair center , format the phone and reinstall the program for the phone which I dont recommend u doing, besides only motorola can do that for you, which brings me to your 3rd option, call the motorola 800 number and ship your phone to them so that they can fix it or swap it for you. You may have to pay a deductible of approximately $60 but thats really the only choice you have. The individual who sold you the phone on ebay probably tried synchronizing your phone to a PC and didnt do it correctly and thats what caused an error code. Another thing might be that A T & T probably sent you that error text message so that you buy a phone from them, they arent too crazy of people buying phones from ebay, they want your business so the carriers will send customers viruses to their phones so that they are forced to buy a phone from them, its a **** thing to do but customers cant prove it so they get away with it. I was a cell phone repair tech for a few years and I figured it out myself. Anyway, good luck and I hope you resolve ur problem soon.
