Question about RCA TH1101 MP3 Player
The device is not being read in media player the device shows that it is connected what can i do to fix this problem?
First you will have to make sure that windows recognize your device...assuming that you are running windows xp/WMP11**If you are not running the latest version of windows media player, please update it*** click on your start menu, right click on my computer and click properties...you should have your system properties open then go under hardware and device manager...you should see your device listed either under disk drives, portable devices or universal serial bus controllers...when you find your device right click on uninstall it...second you will need to check what mode you have your device...unplug your device and click under menu, seting and there should be an MSC mode or MTP mode also known as Auto...make sure its under MTP mode..then open up your windows media player and click under tools, options...go under privacy and clear the history and caches...then you want to hit ok...plug your device on the back of the computer...NOT THE FRONT...then your device should recognize properly...let me know the outcome...
P.S.. please rate accordingly...
