VGA/MOTHERBOARD I have a problem with booting my computer. When booting up everything appears to run H/D fans ect but I have no VGA signal. It supports the MSI PM8M3 VH M/Board. I have done most of the usual checks like taking out the memory and replacing it and unplugging just about everything and reconnecting it but still no VGA signal. It has on board graphics, could this be the problem... thanks I have a problem with booting my computer. When booting up everything appears to run H/D fans ect but I have no VGA signal. Try hooking up to the onboard card and check the video settings in yor bios. Usually press f2 to get there on bootup. Select VGA graphics.

Reseat the ram. If that doesn't work, try reseating whatever you can --without shorting out the chips. Follow proper procedure for not frying your setup with static electricity while you do this.

Replaced motherboard, no signal on monitor

IF THE COMMUNICATION PORT FOR YOUR DEVICE IS NOT UNBOARD THAT IS IF THE KEYBOARD, MOUSE AND YOUR VGA CARD ARE THE REPLACEABLE ONE, TRY TO CHANGE THOSE CARDS THEY MIGHT NOT OK ANY MORE. IF YOU STILL HAVE SAME PROBLEM THEN THE MAINBOARD IS NOT OK, ALSO, YOU CAN CHECK YOU MEMMORY CARD THAT IS RAM IF YOU DON'T ATTACH IT PROPERLY IS CAN CAUSE THE PC NOT TO BOOT. IF IS RAM FAULT YOU WILL BE HEARING SOUND FROM YOUR BOARD, ATTACH IT PROPERLY.

Princeton VL1715 startup problem

Have you disabled your onboard video in the BIOS? Boot your machine with the vga cord to the motherboard. You need to get into the BIOS. Depending on the make of your machine you need you will need to hit the del key, f2, or even f1. Go to the periphrial setup and disable your onboard video. Save the BIOS turnoff the computer and plug the monitor into you vga card. That should do it. To change it back to your motherboards vga just reverse the instructions. Let me know what happens. Good Luck, Tim

Monitor not Running(shows only orange light)

Unplug everything from the motherboard leaving only processor, fan and memory and try to boot up. It will take you to bios screen halt after looking for boot device. If it uses a video card, make sure video card is properly inserted. Then start plugging in hard drive and other devices if system comes up.
