Re: No continuous play

Hold mode button for a few seconds, then select the play mode option, then select how you want it to play thruogh songs, that may be the problem..

MP3 player -Zune not working

Just reset the Zune by holding the left button and the up portion of the center control continuously until the screen goes blank. Release both and the unit will reboot.

Here's a Youtube showing the process:

If this doesn't work, contact MS to get a warranty replacement.

Assuming it does work, be sure to check that you have the latest version of the Zune SW as new units are usually several versions old and updating your unit will make it more reliable in my experience.

My songs won't play

First, download the file FS-MP3Fix. After downloading the file, extract it to the folder where all of the affected music files are. So you should have the folder FS-MP3Fix which contains ffmpeg (that looks like a MS-DOS based program), FSMP3-Fix (this is the program that we are going to use) and a DLL file named pthreadGC2.dll. But, we need those three files to be paste in to the folder where the music are, because the program will only read the directory where the music are in. If it finds no Mp3 files, the program will never work. So, paste the three (3) files in the folder where your Mp3s are. Okay, let's get it started. Open the FSMP3-Fix program. You will see a DOS-based window and you have to choose which language are you going to use (English or Spanish) or just exit the program. So, we choose English (and don't ask me why) which is no. 2. You are going to be asked if you want to continue the fixing of your Mp3 files (of course) that these actions are not reversible (well, if you want that strange playback to continue then why are you reading this, peace). Okay, after pressing Enter key, the program starts working. You will see the process of calculating bitrates of your Mp3 files and you'll be amazed that there are files created in the folder of your music files with _FS name at the end. If in case, the program does not stop working (which is always my problem) press and hold q to stop duplicating other copies again. The program create three duplicate copies which is a headache for me. If you find _FS okay, then remove the songs with added filename with _FS_FS and FS_FS_FS, because they are all the same.
Copy the songs again on the player
Then, play it,it should work.

DJ Play All Shuffle Kepps Stopping

I would access the recovery menu on your Vision:M, and run a clean up. This won't erase anything, and this usually will fix it.
To access the recovery console on your Vision:M:
Disconnect the player from your PC, and make sure the battery is not low, if the battery is low, you're going to need to recharge it first.
Next, Slide the Power switch towards the Power icon and hold the switch in the Power On position.
Next, Push a straightened paper clip into the reset hole, press gently and remove (all while holding the switch in the Power on position). The recovery menu should now come up, again run a clean up first, as this usually resolves issues without deleting your files.

80G Ipod Classic skips songs

Try converting the songs into a different format because the format that the song is in might not completely be played on the ipod. Right click on the song and click on convert to mp3. Then try transferring the mp3 format song onto the ipod and it should play right then.

Audiobook download

Playing Songs, Audiobooks, and Podcasts on iPod shuffle iPod shuffle allows you to play your audio files in a couple different ways—you can play songs, audiobooks, and podcasts in the order in which they appear on your player, or let iPod shuffle work its namesake magic for you (that is, shuffle the files by playing them randomly).
Show Me How
If you want iPod shuffle to play audio files in the order in which they appear on the player, move the switch on the top of the iPod shuffle to the play in order (circular arrows) position. If you want iPod shuffle to play songs in random order, move the switch to the shuffle (crossed arrows) position.
ip02_playfnky_04_shuflebutton.gif This iPod Shuffle is set to shuffle.
To play music, an audiobook, or podcast, just press the Play/Pause button. To skip to the next song (or a different song if you're in shuffle mode, or a different chapter if you're listening to an audiobook or podcast), press the Next/Fast-forward button. To fast-forward through the audio, hold down the Next/Fast-forward button. To go back to the beginning of a song (or the previous chapter), press the Previous/Rewind button; press this button twice to go to the previous song or hold it down to rewind through the file.
To stop play, press the Play/Pause button during play. To turn off iPod shuffle, move the switch to the Off position (you shouldn't see green beneath the switch).

Shows songs, but doesnt play them

Have you tried holding the select (center) and menu buttons together? This will completely reset your iPod to its factory settings, whereupon you can plug it into your computer and sync your songs back.

I'd recommend restoring the firmware to the latest version as well, even if you had the most current version installed, as this will usually aid with these kinds of software-induced problems.
