Question about Microtek ScanMaker 5950 Flatbed Scanner
User receives message 'inssufficient memory to start scan wizard 5, quit some programs and try again' . Administrator able to run program OK. Site staff cannot be given administrator rights. Software was upgraded to version 6.50. Running Windows 2000. Any registry work arounds?
Are you using the the driver which came along from the CD included in the package? If so, have you tried acquiring the latest drivers and softwares from the website?
This could help you fix the issue. Well from the error itself, it means that it does not have enough memory. Could be that the wizard also requires a large one. What is the current memory capacity of the computer you are using?
Try doing the steps above, if this still does not fix the issue, notify me.
Best of luck. ;)
