I want know how to connect it to the PC

Please follow the following steps.

1) Turn off the printer.

2) Shutdown the PC to which the printer is connected.

3) Remove the USB/Serial cable through which the printer is connected to the PC and reconnect it back.

4) Now switch ON the PC(only PC and not the printer)

5) Let the PC boot up and login to windows.

6) Now switch on the printer, PC should detect the printer automatically now.

Now you will be able to print.If not then follow the following steps.

Please be informed that any Printer Driver software depends upon the hardware make and Operating System. You need to know all these information's to do get going.

Please find the Driver software's of your printer inside the installation disk provided with the Printer at the time of purchase. As you have not mentioned your Printer make I am unable to give you the direct download link. However you can download the same by visiting the website of the company that manufactured the Printer.

Even here you need to be careful to download the correct software for your PC. You need to be exact with the Printer Model number and the OS that you are using.

To install just Double clock on the driver setup.exe file and go on clicking 'Next' until you get the 'Finish' option and restart the PC.

First, make sure that the printer is connected to an active phone line. The best setup would be to connect the printer straight to a wall jack and the other end of the phone cable should be connected to the line port at the back of the printer.



For receiving faxes, check the fax settings > Ringing and Answering. Check if the Auto Answer is enabled and check how many rings the fax will pick up any faxes sent to your number. If you have an answering machine connected to the same line, set the printer to pick up 3 rings higher than your answering machine. If you have a voicemail service, you'll need to get a distinctive ring feature from your phone provider.

Have you gone to start, settings printers and faxes, right click on the printer in question, click on the advanced tab and click next to "spool document so it prints faster"? You will need to do this on the computer connected to the printer. Computers that are connected thru a network won't be able to make this change.

The intellifax-770 deffinetly cannot connect to a PC. There are several other models that can, but not this one.

Sorry to inform you that your printer can not be connected directly to your laptop. It does have network capabilities but that is optional, meaning some more hardware is required for you to connect to a network. You must get a USB printer port to be able to connect the printer to your laptop. However if you have a PC then the printer could be connected to the PC and PC to a network on which laptop is also a node. The printer would have to be made shareable.

There Should be a seperate jack for both Line-In/Fax....and Phone......The Phone goes out to your phone handset

Do you have the user's guide? That usually has all the information you need to install and set up the unit. If you don't, you can always go to the website and download a copy. Then follow the instructions.

SET AUTO RECEVING .

ALSO IF U HAVE PC WITH MODEM U CAN SEND AND RECEIVE FAX FROM IT.
