Keeps freezing! Sometimes in the middle of the song or when I choose a song from the artist and click the select button, it starts to scroll to the right so half the screen is the list and half the screen is the picture of the album but freezes there. Then I can't foward, play, or even turn it off. really annoying!

Usually a device will froze if the firnware is corrupted...what i would recommend you to do is to use the itunes application to format your device and to update the firmware on the device...that should solve the problem you are having...
Thank you

Press and hold the center button while holding down the menu button. This will reboot your Ipod. Check your IPod cable to see if its shorted. If might have transferred a song and crash in the middle of the transfer.

Turn repeat off in the menu.
Setting iPod nano to Repeat Songs
You can set iPod nano to repeat a song over and over, or to repeat a sequence of
songs. iPod nano repeats songs within the list you choose to play.
To set iPod nano to repeat songs:
m Choose Settings from the iPod nano main menu.
â To repeat all songs in the list, set Repeat to All.
â To repeat one song over and over, set Repeat to One.
To turn repat off, go to Repeat off.
