Remote control does not work

Good evening.
It is irritating when the remote doesn't work or is lost. You can download a remote in your phone and use the phone as a remote.
Before that check the batteries. It has been known to happen that a new battery is needed. Try that first before you try to get one from the internet it buy one in a shop.

I need this remote to work on this system. Its an xv-htd540 surround sound system and i think the remote controll is an axd 7323 i dont know. If theirs a helpfull hint please let me know!! Thanks!

First you need to figure out the exact model number of the remote and also have you checked to see if they are compatible? That's all I'm gonna do if you give me the model number, second most remotes have a learn feature so if you still have the original remote you can "copy" the code of certain buttons to the remote you like to use. You provides very vague information. Is this remote original? I never tried to look up your remote because you put "I think" "I don't know" in your model number description and if you don't know I sure don't. Yes the models vary so I would need the right one. If it's not compatible and can't learn buttons the you would need to buy a new one unless the remote allows you to download codes. Good luck

I lost the remote and cant change my speaker settings on my coby dvd 915

Unfortunately, you'll need a new remote. Try a universal if you have one. If not, might just buy a new remote. eBay has a bunch listed cheap enough. Just search the model number of the remote for your system. I was able to find this remote, although $20, a universal MAY work and cost less. make sure you can return any universal you do buy in case you can't return it. Although for the dvd-925 system, the remote looks exactly like the one show in the manual for you dvd-915 model. Hope this helps.

Bose av28 access menu using control buttons

when this happened to me,,,I found out it meant that the video decoding ASIC was out....I could not get any DVD's to play to the TV, and finally, the "settings" menu would not go on the television screen....this means you need to have the mainboard replaced, and after twice doing this,,,,the Tech on the phone told me that the Video Decoding ASIC is very susceptible to power spikes,,,so I put a big APC filter in front of it....

Lost remote

I would refer to p. 9 of your manual. You can switch sources on the unit itself, but not bring up the settings menu. if still in warranty, call Philips for new remote

Teac PLD2000 Remote control

The best solution for any home theatre setup is a good universal remote. Some of the best ones are from logitech (used to be Harmony). They are capable of controling ANYTHING, and are Easily web programmable. Most common devices and stereos are already on their website so no long configuration is necessary. take a look at logitech's website:,en for example would be a good buy. go down to your local circuit city or futureshop or such, and ask for a Logitech universal remote, they will likely know what you're asking for. Bigger is not always better, but getting a logitech remote will solve all of your universal remote problems for a long time to come. They're easy and always "updateable" online for the newest equipment available
