Question about SanDisk Sansa e250 MP3 Player

White sreen and wouln't charge

My sansa wouldn't tale the charge nor scan ant it gets a whit screen then it goes back to show the th sandisk sign on the screen.

    I'm having the same problem. When I start my mp3 player it shows the sandisk screen, goes to a white screen and then back to the sandisk screen. Plus it won't charge. I tried downloading the Recovery Tool, but I can't get it to work. It doesn't open up the program, it just asks if I want to, modify, repair or remove the program. I'm so confused, help me please:(

    it shows the battery charing then when i unplug it from my pc it shuts off then i try to power it up then it doesn't turn on what do i do help please

I would recommend you to try to reset the player and then get a firmware upgrade...to reset the player you need to hold down the power buttom for 15 to 25 secs...

to get to the firmware upgrade go to

If for some reason after you have reset the device and get the firmware upgrade your device is not working you can try to use the recovery tools...

My sansa e260 goes black after showing sandisk start up screen and does the same when plugged into a pc. it starts to refresh database and then the screen goes black.

When you say the screen goes black even after disconnecting the device from computer it could be an issue with the firmware.
It might need to have updated firmware. To get the updated firmware please go www.sandisk.com.

Where you can get the latest firmware for your model.
*** Make sure when you update the firmware keep the device in MSC mode.

try resetting it

Sansa c250 not working at all!


2 Suggestions: 1) It may be that the battery isnt charged, let the unit charge fully 2) If that doesnt work, its probably time to send the unit back to sandisk
