Question about Maytag MAV6200 Top Load Washer
It washes fine, then starts the rinse cycle. It will fill with water, but won't drain or spin all of the time. Usually I would have to restart the rinse cycle, and it would finish up.
Yesterday, however, I noticed it had not drained. So I manually tried to restart it, and realized that the breaker had blown. I reset the breaker, and it started making a very strained buzzing noise, and I started to smell burning electronics...so I unplugged it.
I did some troubleshooting today, and found that it will drain and spin just fine (though it is louder than normal) in the "Extra rinse" cycle. It will not, however, complete the rinse cycle. As soon as it is done filling, it makes a loud grinding type noise and won't actually work.
I'm going to look at it some more, but I would appreciate it if anyone could help me out. I originally posted my problem under the MAV6000 washer, but realized it was the wrong model after I got home.
