after my computer has sat for a while and i move the mouse or something, it will blink very quikly and the show me a little bit of the actual page, i can actually operate as if it were normal, it is just more of a nuisance than anything. any ideas thanks

  • ayeayre Mar 22, 2008

every now and again the screen goes black then goes normal after a second or two, the green light stays on, and its completely random, it might not do it for a while then it will then it will do it a couple times then more then it stops, actually happens a lot when i am watching a movie i think, or maybe i just notice it more i don't know, but every time it does it and comes back to normal it says "Digital" in small yellow text with blue background in the bottom right hand corner then goes away.
    VERY ANNOYING!

Mine does it also more and more... very very annoying.. must be a glitch in the electronics as the panel displays everything ok...

Mine is doing this as well - the screen goes black and then comes back on after a few seconds displaying 'digital' message on the bottom right of the screen - happens when I'm playing games, watching a movie most often and is really annoying as it happens completely at random.

I've read this is a common problem with Viewsonic monitors.

I'm never getting one of their screens again. :(

I have the same problem and I've seen that others have the same problem with the blinking monitor, but I have yet to see a solution for this. Is there any?

Turn everything off. Take off the battery. Connect the ac adapter and turn on your computer. If it works with the ac adapter connected and your battery off then you have a defective battery.

If it does not work then it's either your ac adapter or your dc jack inside your computer. Try a different ac adapter at the store you bought the battery and you'll know if your adapter is bad. If it works with another adapter then exchange the adapter again (I know, I know, I've been there). If it does not work with another adapter then you're back to the dc jack but at least you'll know for sure.

Make sure that whoever is replacing the dc jack is good at soldering and replaces it not just solders the same one back on. Don't forget the shield to the dc jack. Good luck!

Two light are blinkin' in from panel. and tv

This seems to be a common problem. I have the same issue. Repair man says its a power supply (he thinks). When the lights start blinking, press the power button on top of the tv (not the remote) and most of the time it will come on and work. I am going to try to replace my power supply and see if that fixes the issue. If so, I will update this post.

Music seconds dont start counting and theres no sound!

Triple Reset for Philips’ GoGear:

Disconnect the Go Gear from computer. Press the reset pinhole until the player turns off. Hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard. If this pop-up does not appear, reset the player again WHILE connected to the computer. Open the Philips Device Manager, and go to Repair Tab. Reset the player one more time while connected to computer. Follow the repair instructions.

After repair is complete, upgrade the firmware for this player. Will erase all the songs, but you should be good to go again.

The mp4 player keeps crashing my computer

If your PC is running Windows Vista, don't even think about conencting it until you get the firmware upgrade for the device.

Installation

Could be your USB drivers for the actual port itself is giving you troubles. What you can do is this. Unplug the printer! Go to Device Manager(Right-click on my computer then click Properties, click on Hardware Tab then press Device manager Button) Look under Universal Serial Bus Controller. Is there a device with a yellow exclamation? if there is, right click on it and uninstall. Go to the top of the list the right click on your computer name and click on Scan for hardware changes! If it finds new hardware and prompts for drivers,(If asks to check online, select no, not at this time) select Install from specific location, then click next, Select the top one(Search these specific locations, and uncheck everything else)!! Next. It should go all the way through, if you get a propmt about unsigned driver click continue anyway! If it goes through try connecting your printer if not it will end in with an error, get back to me with the exact error!! Also your pc might require chipset drivers!! Get back to me with your computer specs if the above doesn't help! regards, babb
