Question about HP Photosmart C3180 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Everything that I try to print comes out red. I have ran all the updates, chatted with HP support, and now I come to you. My last alternative is to uninstall everything and try to reinstall. Any suggestions?
Hope this helps; Try Printer Self Test feature by placing a paper on tray or bypass. Start from off position press Enter button or equivalent and hold down for 3 seconds and press the power button on. Do not release yet the Enter button until it initializes for self test printing. We'll see if it prints correctly or the colors will be printed completely. Proceed to uninstall everything or reinstalling if found print test is correct.

Everything I print on my HP 3100 Photosmart printer comes out very small, It is almost like the margins and text have been reduced. I have tried re-installing the printer, resetting defaults and changing the font size in windows but when printing everything is still too small. I tried printing a 3x5 recipe card and it came out small and un-readable. What do I need to do to get everything back to normal size? It is almost like it is set to print to "size" instead of print to actual size ... I have it set to print to actual size.

I have a problem that has me tearing my d___ hair out! Well 2 actually, but first things first. I had an ink cartridge leak - mega! Sooo I went and bought myself a torx screw driver and took the sides off and cleaned all, but the brush that cleans the heads popped out and I can't for the life of me figure out how to put the stupid thing back in again!!!! I am a single 60 year old female! Does that give you an idea???? My other problem started with putting a logo in a return address on my envelopes but that caused problems in that only half the return address prints or doesn't print at all. The addressee's info is sometimes where it should be but mostly way over to the left. I am thinking I need to uninstall and reinstall as I've tried deleting the logo and can't!!!! ??? This trying to get fancy is for the birds! and I am now at my whits end and sure could do with some advice from you out there as now the printer is of no use. It is also one year old but a good printer.
