Open it up and unscrew the screws around the CD reader. Then pull it back from the edge of the tower. You know, give it space between itself and the button. It could be the tower itself that's pushing on the CD reader.

If not, then update its drivers. That's fairly obvious.

Pioneer 800 mk1 eject disc when powers on

Well, the optical pickup is not able to read the disk. First off, did you use ESD protection when you installed it? If not, it may already be damaged. For more information, or should you have further questions, please visit my website at audioserviceclinic.com. You may contact me directly through the website. Thank you.

My son just put 2 dvds in ps3 and now they are stuck?

Try to press the Eject Button for 20 seconds and i think that will do a force eject
the other way is the paper-clip! Straightend a large paper clip, then with some needle-nose pliers created a tiny L-shaped hooked (about 3/16 or 1/8 of an inch). Inserted the hook side of the clip into the disc slot along the edge. Carefully moved the clip around until I located the hole in the disc, then gently pulled the disc out. Piece of cake, took about 2 minutes!

If it is a hd tv, they make a dvi to Hdmi cable, if not that you will have to buy an external tv out card most tv tuner cards have tv out capabilties, Try dazzle

The DVD player is in constant eject mode - discs will not stay in to play. It has worked perfectly for years. Tonight I was watching a disc, finished, ejected it and put in another and the player just...

Two possible scenarios: First the optical pick up assembly that read the disc has malfunctioned or the eject button is faulty. Either way it is just cheaper to replace the DVD player with a standalone dvd player connected to one the tv input(s). Too expensive to repair just the dvd player if it is tv/dvd combo. The cost for labor and parts is more expensive these days to repair tvs or dvd player. For around $30 you can just replace...much more cost effective.

Bose multi cd changer wont work, reads "Disc error"

I think there may be a problem with the system (defective parts) - I, too, am having this issue. I am going to contact the BBB - maybe if enough of us complain we will get a recall. To file a complaint:
