Question about Teac SL-A100 Turntable

Stopped turning The turntable suddenly no longer turns.  Everything else seems to be working fine and the phono feature itself works except for that it doesn't turn when the needle is in the correct position

Try removing the cover and looking for a broken belt. Make sure that the motor is spinning too. If you find a broken belt, let me know and I'll help you find a replacement.

Good luck!

HELP: Stopped spinning

It's likely the belt has slipped of and probably needs replacing. You can do this yourself. It will be found under the turntable matt. The trick though is fitting it back on. But you might find the instructions on-line (enter the model number into google search). Some people have even put YouTube video's on how to replace the belt on popular turntables.

Although my turntable seems to be fine there is hardly any sound coming through my amp/speakers from it. I'm using a different power lead for it since I've lost my original but it fits fine an

your needle has worn down, or the RCA leads(red & white) arn't plugged in to the phono socket on the amp,or you haven't selected phono on the source select,or you have the tape monitor button switched on.

My combination CD/Cassette Phono turntable doesn't turn. THe CD and Cassette work fine and the phono pickup is working.

As the belt broke or come off. You might need to lift/detach the turntable matt to find out.

No sound from CDJ-800 MK2

Are you getting error messages? Running in thru LINE? Is not on mute? The possiblity of both not playing would lead to process of elimination.

Keep me posted.
