Question about HP Pavilion dv8000t Notebook
My kids have almost filled up the 75 mb C Drive on an HP dv8000 laptop. It is equipped with a second hard drive of equal size.
What can I do to shift some of this to the second drive - which I assume is not bootable?
Thanks for the ideas...
If the laptop is recognizing the second hard drive, open the programs from you first hard drive and select the programs to be transfer by right click with you mouse on the program to be transfer and select copy. Now open the have the second hard drive open and right click again and select paste.
Do the same procedure for all of them.
You can also transfer several programs as well by pressing ctrl on the keyboard and use the left button from you mouse to select them, once you have them selected, release the ctrl key and right click with your mouse > copy > second hard drive > right click and paste.
Once you have transfer the programs you needed, you can go back to the first hard drive and delete the files you already have on your second hard drive.
