Question about Motorola Mobility L6 Cellular Phone
I purchased a "New Quad-Band Motorola L6" cell phone unlocked. I had been having problems with receiption. My cell carrier works on 850/1900 frequencies. This is why I purchased a quad-band phone. I started going thru the menus on the phone and found settings/phone status/other information/technology/900/1800/1900. On my other motorola phone, in going thru these menus, it states GSM quad-band. The company that I purchased the phone from insists that the L6 was made with only the quad band technology and not just a tri band technology. I believe that the L6 that I have is only a tri band. Is there something that I can do to open up the 850 frequency or do I truely have a tri band that was misrepresented as a quad band phone?
Yes,your L6 phone is only triband, its work only on frequencies,900/1800/1900mhz.now if your network provider is using 850/1900 mhz so the 1900mhz will work, and remember the highest frequency that we have the shorter the distance we get...hope it will help your problem....
