Faxphone 50...reads "check paper cutter"...fax doesn't work, any suggestions?

it is the paper jam sensor thats giving a false reading. It can b a very small piece of paper that u can easily remove with ur hand or by blowing. Open it, remove ink catridges, blow it thoroughly n make sure all sensors are clean of dirt. Also mke sure tht the paper u use is preheat to avoid these paper jams. Hpe it helps, pliz vote. You need to call service, because the flapper of registration sensor is worn out, and fax cant detect right paper size.

On the controll panel there is a diamond shape picture with a eye in it.press that bottom and clear the fax that you received.There is no other way.You will have to phone the sender and ask them to change the papersize settings on the fax machine.

u may have a small part of paper inside the fax machine under the heater unit

your fax cartridge is BJC Bx/BC03/03

We had the same thing, and this may not be the case with your fax, but it's worth checking into.

I opened up the fax to take a look and it turned out that someone had sent a fax with WET WHITE OUT on the paper. It got in the fax (grrr!) so there was one stripe where you couldn't read anything since the scanner was blocked. Some windex and a paper towel fixed the problem here.

Please shut down the unit and remove all paper. Wait ten seconds turn the fax backon without paper. mAKE SURE THE FAX IS ONLINE. hAVE SOMEONE SEND YOU A FAX SO THE MACHINE DEMANDS THE PAPER. SEE IF THIS WORKS
