I have 18 of these terrible machines. The are 1 1/2 years old. So far I have had 2 of them give me an error code of "Lo" This code is not in the manuel. The Sears repair guys have no clue what it is. On says its the lid switch, and another says its a circut board problem.
Anyone have an idea of what could be going wrong?

Question: Front Load Washer - Error Code - F8 E1 or LO FL
Product Symptom: Front Load Washer - Error Code - F8 E1 or LO FL
F8 E1 or LO FL Code in display: No water detected entering washer after 13 minutes, the pressure switch input has not been detected. If the washer has an F8 E1 error or LO FL error, the door will be locked, and the control will be unresponsive. The washer will start a drain routine which takes approximately 8 to 10 minutes, during which time the pump will run continuously. The control will not accept any input during this time. Please wait 10 minutes before trying to perform any functions. Check the water supply:
Turn on the water. Check the household water supply to see if the hot and cold water faucets are turned on. Make sure to open both faucets completely for proper fill.
NOTE: Both Hot and Cold water must be supplied to the washer.
Whirlpool recommends that appliances be direct connected to the water supply for optimum machine performance. If a "flood saver" device is being considered:
Check with the manufacturer of the device to ensure it will not affect the performance of the appliance.
Whirlpool has experienced that "flood safety" devices can interfere with the performance of the appliance. Whirlpool typically does not recommend these devices.

03 is drain error, as you know. The machine is sensing that the water isnt draining enough in 5 minutes...Unless there is an electronic problem the main reasons for the error code is because the drain hose is blocked, or the pump has something preventing it from turning, like a coin jammed in the impeller, or the pump motor itself needs to be replaced....These pump motors tend to get detritis in behind the impeller shaft seal and this often causes the pump to fail.....Good luck....Nomess
I am a novice at front loaders but it sounds like it needs new suspension parts, namely springs, sounds like the machine had a hard life before you got it. since its used anyways it cant hurt to take the back off and see and study how it works and how the drums suspension works. you can try to find the springs at an appliance store. Im not sure if you can get springs directly from LG. LG's are a pretty good name brand, probably worth fixing..
