Mitsubishi WD-52825 Black and Purple rolling lines

I have the above DLP and lately I have noticed that intermittently it will display Black and purple rolling lines either vertically or diagonally. This happens at all resolutions and all inputs. Sometimes when I am usinf the HDMI input I can stop it temporarily by switching resolutions on my Hi Def Satellite receiver.

Thanks fo any help

    I have the same TV and it does the same thing.

    Also, does someone know how program the TV to connect a HD cable box to the TV via the HDMI?

    Any help would be appreciated.

Buzzing noise from Mitsubishi DLP WD-52327 after replacing bulb

Did your replace lamp come on the screen or did you lose picture? Just because the LED indicator suggest replace lamp it doesn't mean it needs it. If your pix was dull or loss of brightness then replace it, if not then just reset your lamp timer, check your owners manual for instructions.

Replaced lamp in WD-52825 but still no picture. Lamp indicator on.

the DM board has gone bad. it is not the 4 100uf caps on the board. it is surface mount parts. it this board has failed then the FMT board is not far behind. the chassis needs to be rebuilt.

Mitsubishi WD-52825 Noise issue

Good Day, mooredriven;

If the picture looks like checker board pattern the TV may have a problem with part:
D8F00 PART # 264P828010-diode-DAN202U/MA142W
D8FO1 " " " " "
C8F26 " 141P148000 CER (B25K-1M-K)
C8F29 " " " "
OR the formatter board #930B924001, on that board there are 5 caps 1000 ufd 35v that commonly go bad.

Good Luck, big irish.
