Tean ml1 (94v-0)
94v0 is useless input, it is PCB burn rate test certs.
what is a TEAN?
ELO TOUCH Main Board LL050 TEAN ML1???? 2003? year?
ELO is where to go not now dead foxconn (DIY) only is dead.
ELO Touch panel. The original touch screen was 996-0484-00, PT1503NT.
its not a PC it is only a monitor
what matters is the PC not told by you nor what OS you run.
or ask ELO for them.
You should have 2 wires for 12~15 power going in, which you already indentified, 2 more wires should be for ground return, you can check for them by using Ohm meter between the chassis and probe the wire for less then one Ohm resistance. The other two wires, 1 wire will be for Dimming control (usually 0 = dimmed, 5vdc = full brightness), 1 wire will be for BACKLIGHT ON/OFF (0v= OFF, 4~5VDC = ON) control.
Dose the fuse on the inverter board check out OK? You can use other inveter board as long as the lamp connectors are the same and you just have to match the input signal pin. I have done many. http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capacitor_plague
See example of the fuse on the inverter board.
The Elo ET1527L Monitor has stereo speakers. Within the OSD (On Screen Display) you can control several properties of the monitor like; brightness, contrast, positioning, color, and SOUND. See the buttons on the right side.
I recommend setting the sound to 100%. The speakers are small and weak. They are pointed to the rear, I assume for customers to hear.
The buttons do have a lock-out feature too. If they don't respond, while on, hold down the top two buttons and the screen should display Lock / Unlock. Wait until you see the one you want and then release. The power button lock out works the same way, holding top and 3rd button to lock/unlock.
The device drivers give you an option to use internal (monitor beeps) and external (PC port) sound sources.
The calibration is off. Go to start and then control panel. In control panel you should find an icon for ELO calibration. Click this and start the procedure. The calibration will ask for you to touch several places on the screen in little circles with bulls eyes. After this the screen should be corrrect.
I hope this helps, if so please rate our solution.
I spoke with ELO techsupport and they said that I have a bad backlight inverter. I am looking for replacement parts. Have you found anything? If not, would you be interested in selling your USB controller unit from your monitor? Wake
