Re: 75105t blackberry hourglass
If you see the hourglas its probably when you retarted the phone.
If you want to do a complete reset, assign a password, then enter the code wrong 10 times - it will wipe the device, and its fresh like new

It happens when the process is malfuctioned or corrupted. I advise to do a factory reset. To do so, turn off the phone, holdon the home button and press the power button. It will go to recovery console, now select "Wipe to factory setting", once finished, turn off the phone and restart. It should take care of the issue.
Thanks and regards,
1. reset the whole phone. Here's the procedure for resetting:
**Make sure to back up EVERYTHING that you want on the phone as the process i will mention will remove EVERYTHING.
**This can and should only ever be used as a last ditch effort, oh and i take NO BLAME for what ever may or may not happen with the phone.
here are the details………
How to Format the device or Reset it.
There are two ways,
First you can enter *#7370#. This will reset it to the factory settings and wipe most of the stuff from the phone (contacts, connection settings etc).
You can format most series 60 phones by holding down 3 * green whilst switching it on. Do this untill you see the word formatting or until it prompts you to enter a city. Be warned, you can loose everything by doing either of these things…
2. After resetting, we need the correct settings. Go to the Nokia Support site and download the MMS/SMS etc…etc…. settings to your phone and save them. here is the link:
3. Once downloaded try again in sending an SMS see what Happens.
4. If this does not work, please go to your service provider and have your phone and sim card checked.
The same exact problem is happening with my phone right now. if you need to use it immediately then turn it on and quickly go to the settings menu to turn off auto-lock and try to avoid pressing the side buttons, don't let the phone lock by itself before you get to the settings otherwise you have to take the battery out and try again.
