Question about Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition
What you can do when your computer wants to activate windows, is select the "Activate by Phone" option. It will give you a long set of numbers and an 800 number to call. The automated system will ask you for the 75 numbers (15 groups of 5 digits, I think that is how many there are) that will be showing on your screen. If it accepts your entry, it will give you the activation code. If not, you can redo the activation process with a different set of numbers and try again. It usually works in the first 1-3 tries.
