TRY HOOKING THE LAPTOP TO AN EXTERNAL MONITOR IF THE MMONITOR IS OK. THEN ITS THE CABLE CONNECTING THE KEYBOARD TO THE SCREEN. HOPE THIS HELPS. THS HAPPENED TO ME GOOD LUCK
Sounds like a loose lcd cable, I'd check to make sure it is secure (back of lcd) and where it connects to the motherboard. Usually a piece of tape right where it connects solves the problem ;)
Windows 7 is not best suited yet for wireless connectivity, but broadcom wireless cards/dongles are about the only ones that work favourably with this Microsoft offering. Anything to do with non working hardware IS A DRIVER ISSUE AND IF IT IS NOT IN THE UPDATE SITE YOU WILL HAVE TO DOWNLOAD DRIVERS FROM THE VENDOR OF YOUR PARTICULAR HARDWARE. MOST HARDWARE THAT WORKS IN VISTA WILL WORK IN WINDOWS 7.
It is because your wi fi network adapter not getting ip addresses from router. For that connect your router to computer with ethernet cable then access it with following link. http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.0.1
type user name as "admin" and password as "admin" or blank or "password"
then go to advaced and enable DHCP . Then save and restart router.
Then go to your laptop go to my etwork places proeprty then right click on your wi fi adapter then proeprty then tcp ip and set ip get automatic. Then it works fine. Let me know if you need more assistanse. Thanks.
HP's normally use the Atheros wifi card which recently has had many problems such as what you describe here. Try a different wifi card to see if this solves the problem. If you don't have a wifi card take it to a local repair shop to see if they have one they can try for you.
If you are not getting any audio through the laptop without the hdmi cable check that the volume control has not been turned down on either the laptop or on the windows volume control icon in the bottom right corner of your screen. Sometimes the easy solutions are the hardest to find.
If it is a hardware issue the ribbon cable may have somehow come loose connecting to the touchpad circuit board, if you are comfortable disassembling it you might check that; I would first try to make sure you have all the latest drivers and if that doesn't work do a clean install of your operating system to see if it is just a software issue.
First, the "Network Cable Is Unplugged" - don't worry about that. That is just informing you that your WIRED connection is unplugged, which is fine because you are using wireless.
Now the actual issue of no internet...first try by unplugging your internet modem for 20 seconds, and plugging it back in. Next do the same with your wireless router. At this point your computer will disconnect form the wireless network and you may need to reconnect it. After the reconnect see if you still have the same issue, but chances are it should be fixed :-)
If that does not work let me know and we can further troubleshoot the issue!
That message always comes up if you have the driver loaded for the ethernet port but no cable connected to it. If you are not actually using the port, don't worry about it. Everything is fine.
