Question about Frigidaire 24 in. PLD2850 Built-in Dishwasher
DISHWASHER WILL NOT DRAIN OUT CAN HEAR IT COMING ON BUT WILL NOT DRAIN.
My Frigidaire dishwasher would not drain yet I could hear the pump working. So I disconnected the power, hot water supply, drain line, and two screws attaching the washer to the cabinet. Pulled the unit out from under the cabinet and inspected the drain line. It was clogged pretty good with grease build-up. There was no water getting through. The grease clog was about 3 inches long and solid. I attached one end of the drain line to a faucet, used the clamp to keep it on the faucet, ran hot water through the line and the clog was forced out. I put it all back together again and it worked just fine.

Have you checked the drain hose??? It may be clogged to some degree or where it meets either the garbage disposal or t-tailpiece, whichever you have, or where it comes out of the water pump. Also, the impeller inside the water pump might look good but may be worn, and check for broken glass which is hard to see in the bottom drain area at the grate. Hope this helps.

Two things to consider....clean water or
Clean water usually indicates the fill valve
is not shutting off all the way and the fill valve is "weeping" water
in all the time = new fill valve time!!
Dirty water usually is not a dishwasher
problem but more of a plumbing issue. Often the sink drain that carries the
sinks water outside is not fast enough and some of this sink water is backing
up into the drain hose and filling up the dishwasher through the drain hose.
The drain from the sink to outside needs attention as this type of a problem
indicates a slow house drain for that sink.
The dishwasher drain line should be clamped to the top underneath part of the counter before entering the sink drain plumbing, this may help the water from coming back inside the dishwasher.
