A E020 code is a toner amount problem in the developing ass'y. Is the copier asking for toner or was it and no toner was installed? If not the amount of toner is to low for the hopper to add enough toner in to over ride the toner sensor. Look in the developing ass'y for toner, if you only see about a 1/8' of toner you need to clean or replace the toner sensor. Then you are going to have to run in service mode " toner-s". Then rechk the amount of toner in the developer ass'y. It should be about a 1/2' or so. If not you have a problem with the toner hopper. And if that is the problem you may want to manually add toner in the developing ass'y to get the copier working again. You also have to clear the error code in service mode.

IR 3100 error. E020-01A9, E020-02A9,

E020-01A9 Error Code : iR C3100 Series
Hi there
I have looked it up and what it says about it I have put down for you so you can gave it a try hope it works for you.
Approved
Symptom
E020-01A9 Error Code.

Cause
For ATR control, the detected Toner/Density ratio exceeds the lower limit (3%) 3 times continuously for Yellow

Action
The ATR Sensor and Patch Image Read Sensor both determine toner density. Depending on the density readings the copier will or will not add toner. Check the status of the Drum Unit under COPIER>DISPLAY>MISC>DRUM-LIFE. The Patch Image Read Sensor looks at a patch of toner that is generated on the drum for each colour and determines the amount of toner that is in the patch by the amount of reflected light. If the drum is not creating the patch correctly, the patch reading will be affected. Replace the Drum Unit if it is 80% of its rated life or higher. ..

E020 01BO What does this error code mean?

E020 indicates a Black Toner malfunction. If you've recently changed the toner and failed to distribute the toner by gently shaking it from side to side, this could be the cause of this error or if the toner is very low it could trigger the same error.
01B0 is a drum error related to your toner error message. If toner cartridge is good, remove the cartridge, clean the drum, replace the cartridge and both errors should clear. A dirty drum will also trigger your 1st error e020.

Error code E20 in Canon NP 6241 copier

Check this code - does it read E020 ? if so this is usually a result of toner starvation possibly caused by a faulty toner sensor in dev or hopper unit.I have also found the toner hopper supply motor can fail with the same result. In either case it is an engineers job to rectify. Good luck !

Error code e002 on canon copier np6050

Also this code needs to be cleared in service mode. Despite what the display says, turning it off and on will not reset it. To enter service mode insert a straightened paper clip into the small hole in the front cover, near the meters, a "$" sign will appear on the display. Press * 4 * in order. Press ">>" to select "error" then press "OK" then power cycle.

(I cant remember on that model but you may need to defeat the interlock on the front door in order to enter service mode.)

Canon NP6050 Error code E013

E013 refers to the waste toner receptical being full, but in this case the toner melts at the end of the worm screw assembly causing the cleaning unit to block up, activating the microswitch which tells the machine the waste toner bottle is full. The solution is to try to free up the worm screw assembly, failing that, replacement of the drum cleaning assembly.
