I have a 95 cutlas. power windows stoped working. the fuse is good but thers no power going to the fuse. does anyone no why or does anyone know were the ground wire is ?

Relay or self resetting circuit breaker should be in the main under hood fuse box

Hi it could be a number of things. Firse check fuzes. Then The most likely is the wires comming from the car into the doors. As a result of years of bending from opening and closing the door the eventually break. The quickest way is to check at the switch in drivers door for power. If thers none there check the wires. If thers power there go direct to the window motor and power it up and earth the other terminal if the motor is ok the window should operate. Good Luck.

if fuse okay problem more likely in the sunroof controller.

there could be a wire disconnected from the switch to the windows

there is a connection that goes into the back of the radio the connection might not be fitting right so you may have to get a new 1 take out the radio and look at the connection then you will find out if it is the connection

Where the fuses and relays tested and
found to be bad, or you just hoped for the best?

You need a wiring diagram
Then you will have a map of
sorts ,to follow to success

That is how the repair shops do it
They can not know every vehicle

you could try to locate your car fuse box,open it and inside you shoulb be able to identify what fuse to change if it is the fuse that is malfunctioning

May be an electrical problem, i have had this problem in my Cefiro before. If you know anyone with a similiar vehicle, try swapping the window switches around for a test, they mey have shorted out.

they do have fuse and it is not combined with another component

check for a good ground connection

look for a 30 amp circut breaker in location # 62 in the power distribution box in the engine compartment
