Re: Problem on o/s installation

Look in your bios & see if you can disable the ACPI, (which you should be able too do. Finish installing your OS. Than update the OS. After completing all updates re-enter your bios & enable the ACPI. You should not get that error message after re-start.
Boards that support ACPI will get this error during a fresh install untill they get windows updated. All OS's
Post back if this did not help! It worked for me.

I was installed Windows server 2003 but I don't have the graphics and audio driver for windows server 2003. From where I can get the drivers. Is it available..

Sorry to tell you buddy, but there are no driver that's going to support your system board with windows 2003. Did you try the driver for windows 2000 or xp to see maybe it will work..

good luck..

Did you get an error message during install of the (system with the SATA 160GB drive)? Make sure the 160GB drive is shown in the bios. Than go to the title, Boot in the bios & make sure the SATA 160GB is listed in the boot order. (Preferred 3rd. boot device)
Please go to the SATA drive's manufactures site & download either their bootable floppy or CD setup software. (It’s free)! Use their software to setup the FAT & cluster size on the drive. You can even set other features that neither the bios or windows can do. Format the 160GB drive with the software as well. The manufacture's software does a better job than windows. If the 160GB drive is a SATA 2.0 leave the jumper on the drive alone. The Desktop Board supports four Serial ATA channels (3.0 GB/s) via ICH7, connecting one device per channel.
Again, please run the manufactures setup software for your SATA 160GB drive. (Disconnect any other drives that may be in the system until windows is installed).

Good luck ameyaniks!

Graphic driver problem

The Intel 852/855, 865G, and 945G video chipsets are integrated with numerous desktop, laptop, and server motherboards. Older versions of the drivers for these chipsets, often installed at the OEM factory, may conflict with patches or other drivers on each of Windows XP Home, XP Pro, and 2003 Server. Blue-screen-of-death and memory dump errors will result from running old versions of this driver. The text of these messages includes:
  • Driver conflict error: “ialmnt5.sys
  • DLL communication error: “ialmdev5.dll”
The error often occurs following Windows Service Pack upgrades, Windows Update installs, and the running of new video games. After the error appears it is usually possible to boot into safe-mode (restart and press F8 at the BIOS screen to start in safe-mode) to install the newest version of the driver. Download and install newest driver version from:

I think your best bet will be to update every driver on your system and to try disabling advanced video features.

Or purchase a separate video card to install in your Windows 2003 server’s PCI or AGP slot and which already has drivers built for Windows 2003. Install that video card in the system and then disable the video Intel video chipset that is on your motherboard. (You can find closeout and refurbished video cards that might work well on sites like eBay or geeks.comno-web-bugs.gif)
