Try the following:
1) Press Additional Functions
2) Press # to enter the service menu
3) Scroll over to select "#12 Clear" and press Set
4) Scroll over to select either "ERR" or "ALL" and press Set
5) The LCD should report "CLEAR OK". Cycle power on the device.

If the error returns the device may need service.

SYSTEM ERROR CODE E000- HOW CAN THIS BE RESET? WHAT DOES THIS ERROR MEAN?

A E000, means that the fuser is not warming up correctly. You can try to unplug the copier and see if it will reset. If it will not reset, you will have to have the fuser unit replaced or the upper fuser heater unit and film. Good Luck

I am getting an E000 message and there is nothing in the manual about this. Please help.

This is a fuser error you need to replace the fuser. you need to remove the covers on the left side. Then look under the black plastic sheet. You will see the fuser. You need a very short No 2 phlips head screw driver like 1 inch long. remove the screws and un-plug it. It will slip out. Get a new fuser and install. Thank you, Steven
