Diablotek radeon 9200 problems.....please help

I have a GX260 PC, and I am trying to install and use a Diablotek radeon 9200 graphics card. It says in the directions to have SP3 installed, I do. It also says to disable the current graphics controller, in my case the intergrated one, I did that as well. It then says to turn of the pc, and install the card, then plug the vga into the card and turn on the pc. So I did all that but when I turn on the computer, I dont get any kind of input from the pc, the screen is blank and says no signal. I try plugging in another monitor at the same time to the intergrated vga port and nothing will show up on there I am lost and hope to get to work, because of the cad work that I do. I would appreciate any help. thanks

by the way the computer is not in original small case, and it has a different power supply, but it is the gx260 main board

OK, turn-off the computer, remove and replace the BIOS battery, then start it up with the VGA cable in the onboard graphics port.
Press the corresponding key to go into BIOS setup (Del?) and go to the Integrated Devices menu.
Change the option from onboard to PCI in the Video options.
Exit and save settings. As the computer restarts (you'll have to be quick) swap the VGA cable back to the Radeon's port.

Before disabling the video card, restart the computer and enter the BIOS settings. Often there is also a setting in BIOS on newer boards that allows the user to set either a PCI card or AGP card as the primary video device. Make sure this is set to your video card, which in your case would be PCI-E Automatic. Power down the computer, plug the VGI cable into the new graphics card and turn the computer on. You should be up and running in a matter of seconds. If you don't have video, turn the computer off by holding the power button in until the computer shuts down. Remove the new card and return VGI cable to original location. Restart the computer and use the driver installation disk that came with the new card. Install the drivers. Shut down the computer and try again with the new card.
NOTE: With the BIOS settings to PCI-E Automatic, the computer will check if a card is installed in the PCI-E slot before going to the integrated graphics. Do not remove the drivers for the integrated graphics, you may need to reuse it at a later time.

Unable to get my new graphics card to work

Just moments ago, I downloaded the latest (v9.4) Vista 64-bit driver for my LX 6200 for my HD 4650 512MB video card. It seems to have fixed a cursor flickering problem, but didn't help with the screen saver problem. My card is made by Sapphire and I downloaded the driver from there site at:

Disabling the built in HD3200 is key to successfully installing the Catalyst software.

Pixel Shader is a hardware capability. It must be supported by the graphics card. Sounds like your graphics card will not work with the game you purchased. To answer your question directly, you will need to install a graphics card that supports Pixel Shaders to be able to run games which need it.
The following cards support Shader Model 1.x: - ATI Radeon 85xx Series (1.4) - ATI Radeon 9000 Series (1.4) - ATI Radeon 9100 Series (1.4) - ATI Radeon 92xx Series (1.4) - NVIDIA GeForce3 Ti (1.1) - NVIDIA GeForce4 Ti (1.3)

Lost resolution windows vista upgrade on GX260

Hi all,

I tried numerous solutions for this issue and none of them worked except this one. I tested it with Vista Ultimate and don’t know if other Vista versions have the same drivers but here’s what worked for me:

1. Right click ‘Computer’ then left click ‘Properties’ to open up System window.
2. Click ‘Device Manager’
3. Click ‘+’ on ‘Display Adapters’ and you should see the drivers for your video. Right click and select ‘Update Driver Software...’
4. Select ‘Browse my computer for driver software’ and click ‘next’.
5. Click ‘Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer’
6. Untick ‘Show compatible hardware’
7. Select ‘Intel Corporation’ then select ‘Intel 82865G’. Click next.

This will install the drivers. No they are not the same drivers for the hardware but they work a treat!
