Why does this come up? There appears to be an error with your installation. Please reinstall the application. Always pop up everyone I

If this error appears every time you start the computer, then there is a program in your system start up that isn't properly installed. I can't tell you which program without more information. A quick search shows that this is a common problem with DriverCure and FileCure. Uninstall/reinstall them if you have one of these programs.

If you don't know which program it is, then you need to go through your startup programs one by one.

Press "windows key + R" to bring up the run dialog box.
Type in "msconfig" and click "OK."
If the UAC dialog box comes up, click "Continue."
Click on the "Startup" tab.

It will display a list of every program that runs when your computer boots. Uncheck the first box for the program that you think might be causing the problem and then click "OK."

A box asking if you'd like to restart your computer will appear. Click "Restart Now."

A dialog box will appear notifying you of changes to your startup, click "OK" and msconfig will reopen.

If the error reoccurs, then uncheck the next item on the startup tab and repeat until you find the one causing the error. Make note of the name of the last thing you unchecked and uninstall/reinstall that program.

To get rid of the startup notification box, simply check "Don't show this message..." before clicking "OK"

When my laptop comes on i get an error message that says jitdebuggingis enabled what can i do to get rid of this error

To get rid of this error, open up "My Computer" and do the following.

    1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
    2. In the Options dialog box, select the Debugging folder.
    3. In the Debugging folder, select the Just-In-Time page.
    4. In the Enable Just-In-Time debugging of these types of code box, select or clear the relevant program types: Managed, Native, or Script.
To disable Just-In-Time debugging, once it has been enabled, you must be running with Administrator privileges. Enabling Just-In-Time debugging sets a registry key, and Administrator privileges are required to change that key.
    5. Click OK.

There always appears on the desktop - you may be a victim of windows counterfeiting - what is that? and how to remove it?

This message appears if you have performed a windows update that installed the "Genuine Advantage Notification". It is basically saying that your copy of windows is not a genuine version, and you need to get a valid Windows XP cd-key from Microsoft to get any additional non-critical updates from Microsoft. It is just a reminder and will not stop you from using your PC.

If you want to get rid of the message, you will need to follow the instructions to purchase a new key. Alternatively, if you perform a system restore to before you started getting the message, it should work for you.

To do a system restore, go to start, programs/all programs, Accessories, System Tools, System Restore. Follow the instructions on this wizard and it will restore your computer tho the state it was on the date that you choose.

    Hope that helps

Error 1706 Instant Share message when booting up. Cant get rid of it. Need patch from HP?

You could just stop instant share starting up when the computer starts.
Or use a program like CCleaner, this has a startup editor in the tools section

    Unknown dll

I suggest that it might be tied to some malware installed on your computer.

To get rid of all the problems....

This is what you want to do:

    1) Go to CCleaner - Home and download that and install

    2) Get on google and type in " spyware doctor starter edition" find that, download it and install

    3) Ad-Aware @ Lavasoft - The Original Anti-Spyware Company - Lavasoft and download adaware

    4) Anti-Spyware, Anti-Malware, Email Security Software and Firewall and download counterspy

    5) -- download avg antispyware free edition

    1) Run ccleaner to clear out your temporary files

    2) Go to the start orb and type "msconfig". Look for any references to the .dll file in there, and if you see it, disable it. You can also disable and unneeded startup items while your here if you choose. REBOOT

    3) Install and update (if you didn't already) the antispyware software, run FULL scans with all of them (one at a time preferably). All should be well after the scans complete

    4) ???

    5) Enjoy!

As for the error message.. does it pop up when you boot up your computer? Did you recently install something that might be questionable?
Try uninstalling whatever it is that you recently installed. Also, look at the tutorials here to learn how to enable and disable start up programs.

Hope my info solves your problem,
    Thanx for using fixya........

How to clean the virus infecting my system

well that sounds like a tough one.. Have you tried safe mode. Rapidly press F8 after the the bios screen load and before the winxp(assuming your running winxp) screen starts. Safe mode only loads the bare essential process for the operating system. You should be able to run a virus scan from safe mode to at least get rid of the worst of it. IF this doesnt work you might have to either use a bootable virus scan or look at reinstalling the operating system. If the virus has embedded itself far enough into crucial system files then you will for sure need to do this or attempt a repair install of windows. One thing iv learned over the years trying to clean viruses off systems is that you can spend HOURS and hours fighting it where some keep coming back.. or you can invest a couple hours into trying to get rid of it and then call it quits and reformat which is the only sure way of completely getting rid of it. I hope this helps. im a big fan of AVG available at . they even have a free version ( good luck.
