Smegg Oven Model Number and problems ... please help =)

I have recently moved into a new place, and a Smegg oven came fitted in the kitchen. I cannot find the model number, can anyone help? There are 3 dials and a small light inbetween the 2nd and 3rd button.

I am also having another problem...I cannot seem to get the oven to heat up unless the timer mode is on. The first dial appears to be the timer, and the oven will only heat up when this is turned to a time and is ticking. As soon as the timer ends the oven stops heating. I really would like the oven to work when the timer fuction is not running...can anyone explain why it switches itself off when the timer ends and how to overcome this?

Unfortunatley alot of the symbols have been warn away. I have attached a photo of the oven with close ups of the 3 dials...if anyone can help me with a diagram of what the buttons are do I that would be great!

Many thanks for any help / advise given =)

Thanks for the advice, it pointed me in the right direction =). The model turned out to be an SE-335SS. Having spoken to Smeg a couple of times they have said they would email me through a manual but so far haven't seemed to have got round to it! Hopefully whan a manual is found it will resolve the issue where the oven only heats up when the timer is ticking (there appears to be no manual timer mode).

    Once again thanks =)

I've tracked down a manual, it says regarding the timer (minute minder knob) that "The oven is not automatically switched off when the end of cooking alarm sounds" yet the oven definatley stops heating when the alarm sounds. Any ideas? Thanks for any help given =)

Unfortunatley the knob doesn't appear to turn left (anti-clockwise) though we have tried. Perhaps the dial is broken, although it doesn't seem to be. Thanks for you help though =)

On mine if you turn the timer left 1 click to the "hand" logo it should work fine. Never used the timer

It looks like an S551X-5, I think the timer is a safety mechanism, maybe just set it to full when in use and turn it off when you finish.

My neff oven b1322.1 is showing c03 code since moving , I now can't set the timer and clock etc can anyone help to solve this?

The C03 error indicates that the timer button is stuck or not responding. Check if the buttons can move freely; you may need to remove the rubber cover by prying it up. If the buttons move freely, sometimes the error can be cleared by unplugging the oven (or turning the unit off at the circuit breaker) for several minutes (up to 30 minutes). Turn the power back on. Then press and hold the Timer button for more than 180 seconds (3 minutes). Some people have reset the timer by setting the function selector to "interior light on" instead of pressing and holding the timer button.

If none of these actions work, then the timer clock needs to be replaced. If you add a comment with the full model number of your oven, I may be able to give you the part number. NEFF doesn't list a B1322.1; there are several B1322N1 models. There will be addition numbers in the model number and there may be some extra letters as well. See to get a picture of where the rating plate is for your unit. That will have the full model number.

I hope this helps.

This tutorial will show you how to check your Smeg element and how to replace your Smeg cooker element.
Here are the 3 main faults to look for in your oven or cooker that is not heating
  1. Your oven will not work until the clock/timer has been re-set after replacing an oven element or tripping the electrical supply. Consult your Smeg manual.
  2. If your Oven is not getting hot or heating up it could be a faulty element, if the fan in the oven is running and the thermostat light is on, this will lead us to believe that the element has gone faulty. With grills the thermostat light should come on there should be heat, if not then this could be the grill element or the thermostat.
  3. When you turn the oven on, the household electrical supply trips on the Rcd (this is the earth trip in the fuse board sometimes called the breaker tripping) your fan oven element has gone to earth and needs replacing.

Belling oven stopped working

It is most likely the element needs replacing although it could be the oven thermostat.

I would try a new element first, it is not a complicated job to change the element but you need to switch the power off at the wall before you start work.

If you are unsure or in doubt about carrying out the work seek professional help.

KitchenAid Wall and Microwave Oven Combo - KEMS308SSS

Have had this oven for 8 years. At least three times, usually after using the clean cycle in the main oven, the latch mechanism has broke and the oven door will not open. In March they installed a 'new design' to prevent this. It's seven months later, and it broke again. Has anyone had similar experiences? How did you resolve?
