OK, all you need to do once you are directed to the link below, is to choose the specific operating system you are using. Choose to download the audio driver.
Usually there is at the Dell site you can get an updated driver but also at the Sigma site who made the audio driver will have an update or you may have to get a usb sound card to here your new video.
Unplug power take the main batter out of the unit. Then hold the power button in for 1 full minute. then put the battery back in and plug power back in and turn on the computer. See if you have sound. If not go to Device manager and see if it shows up under Sound and Video. Should be something like HD Audio. if not the go to ad and remove program and remove sound driver and reboot. Got to http://support.dell.com and download the Audio Driver and install it.
Pls try to update windows by service pack 2 or 3 from windows update & then try installing the sound driver again this may probably help you...............
Joey, Be sure to use the Dell website to search for your problem. "B130 no audio device found?" or whatever the message is. Had exactly the same problem and it was do to a switch turned off, I think in the Computer Administration folder. I cannot rember what itwas, but I believe you can find the answer. There are 266 Search Results for B130 no sound device search on the Dell community site.
