Aspire 750 power button destroyed.

I found a very (What I feel) very good "Website". There are power switches for you Laptop. I think this will best site for you. I've included the "Link" below........ However in my on experience,. Replacing the power switch requires a couple of hours and can be very frustrating. I hope this helped and the best of luck to you.

My ascer 5352 want restore

Save any files or folders on your Acer Aspire One with flash drives. Drag and drop files onto the icon of your flash drive.

Go to "Start" > "Restart" to reboot your netbook.

Hold down "Alt" and "F10" when you see the Acer logo on the screen.
The recovery menu will load.

Hit "Enter" and then "Next" to see your recovery options.
Choose "Factory Restore" to set your netbook back to factory settings.
Follow the instructions on the screen.

Choose your time zone and language when the customization menu appears.
Reboot the netbook when you are prompted.

Restore your saved files from the flash drive.


Click on the Start menu. Then, select all programs, Acer Empowering Technology and Acer eRecovery Management.

If this is the first time you have opened the program it will prompt you to set up a password and create a backup CD.

Click the Restore button and select the option that reads "Restore system to factory defaults".

Wait for the computer to finish the restore process and reboot.

Restoring for the Boot Screen

If your computer will not boot up properly, you can attempt to reach the restore option by pressing the Alt button and the F10 button at the same time.

When the eRecovery menu appears, choose "restore system to factory defaults".

Wait for the recovery process to complete and the computer to restart

User manual of an acer laptop keyboard

Start, click Run, and type regedit to open the Windows registry editor.

In the registry, open the below folders.

Control Panel\

Within the keyboard folder, you should have a string value named "InitialKeyboardIndicators" with a value of 0, 1, or 2. Below is the explanation of each of these values.

0 = Num Lock is turned OFF after the logon.
1 = Disable Num Lock.
2 = Numlock is turned ON after the logon.

Acer bios reset


Please remove the CMOS Battery from the Motherboard for 10-15 seconds and re-insert it.After that system BIOS will without password and default setting .configure system BIOS according to your requirement.

Opening case

It looks like the metal cabinet will slide back. Maybe sticking a flat screwdriver between the black cabinet and the back panel will loosen it.
