Question about Daewoo DP42SM 42 in. HD-Ready Plasma Television
I have an intermittent fault where the picture at times starts to deteriorate & then the screen goes blank. If I power down & back on again the picture comes back again . Yesterday this happened after the screen had been on all day for about 10 hours which makes me suspect it might be an overheating problem . Is this a common problem ? Is it something thats easily rectified? I am worried that being a low end model I wont be able to get it fixed.
I already told this to a few people here main problem of this model are SMD capacitors on video procces board and filter capacitors on PSU.Easy and cheep to fix it only takes time and nervs.DO NOT PUT SMDs AGAIN USE NORMAL CAPACITORS SAME VALUES 105°C.
If you have any further questions I'll be glad to help you if I can
