Acer orbicam has stopped working

** Note ** When the My Pictures or Pictures folder gets full, camera will not work - Cut and Paste all pictures in that
folder to another folder and restart Orbicam program.

If that does not work then do this:

Start - Programs - look for Acer Empowering Technology then Acer E-Recovery - The look at the bottom and you will
"Backup", "Burn disk" and Restore" choose Restore - choose Apps and Drivers at the bottom of Restore tab (it will say
extracting) - once extracted - click Install or Guides and Manuals if needing Orbicam instructions - click Vista or (XP) on the left - click Drivers - click Camera or CCD - on the
right side of the screen, then look for Bison driver or (or your model which can be found in device manager - control panel - system - device manager - Imaging devices) you have then click a phrase that has something like "Install now", follow on screen instructions. Then repeat steps above and instead of driver choose Bison (or your model which can be found in device manager - control panel - system - device manager - Imaging devices) Utility

buy a dell, sell the acer for scrap metal, or use it to wipe your **** with it....

I had the same problem, and guess what, I uninstalled the old orbicam, and install it again. And it worked. You can get some help with drivers on http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/index.html

I had that problem. You need to update the driver file:///I:/all%20files/Downloads/AcerOrbiCam(Bison)_v1.0.0.19/AcerOrbiCam(Bison)_v1.0.0.19/

After my ACER laptop orbicam worked flawlessly for about one year, the orbicam only worked with the MESSENGER program.
I tried downloading new drivers but it still failed in the camera mode. Then, I read about deleting saved pictures on this FIX YA website. I found the directory where just 3 pictures were stored, deleted two pictures, and saved the remaining one in another folder. VOILA! It now works flawlessly again. my orbicam has stopped working

when i first got my comp i was taking pictures like a photographer than one day i click on it and it sez acer orbi cam has stopped working and still sez this and it says please wait windows is looking for solutions or sumthing i wait than it sez mo solution could not be found..

i have the acer 3680 and my acer cam wont work i think your all with me when i say acer laptop are ****
