Question about Olympus Camedia C-160 Digital Camera
Hi- when I switch on this camera it starts beeping and asks me if I want to format the card. This has happened for several different cards that work perfect in other cameras.
Hey there nallyt, my suggestion is that you let the camera format the card. It is often required with using cards on a new camera model. It basically allows the camera to set up the drive in a way that allows it to communicate with the camera and therefore allowing input and output, as well as the ability to organize the contents. Also be careful when using other systems to modify the content of the card. This could result in a need to reformat again and possibly lost data. I find it best to copy files on to computer, and I work on that copy. Use the camera for deletions. this should help avoid future problems. Good Luck!
