Question about HP Compaq nc8230 Notebook
Doesnt that auto update **** u off.if u choose to install in windows it slows things down and when you choose to install at shutdown you have compatability problems at startup.
start up with os in drive and choose repair ( "r" ) in prompt type in "chkdsk" this may repair any fault and enable boot.
if not startup again with os in drive and choose repair or install...not the repair ( "r" ) option in the first screen.(in first screen choose install, system checks existing os and informs you of it and asks to confirm install new or repair.
